myles 0 Posted July 30, 2009 i have a 1995 corrado vr6 with a tired engine. i want to put a 1.8t into it. i want to know what are the problems if any i will encounter in this transplant that would make it different to putting a 1.8t into a g60(which i also have).are there problems associated with the crossmember, engine cradle, what one do i have to use ? how do i keep the wide track that is on the vr6. i know these are only minor details in the scheme of things but i would still like to know if there are any problems that i will encounter that apply to the vr6 only. has anybody done this conversion, i have yet to come across one. thanks a million. Toad 0 Posted July 30, 2009 You need the subframes from a 4 cylinder car, and the associated wishbones, rad support panel, slam panel etc. Search for this topic, as there have been several threads on it covering what items are needed etc.
