jakegti 0 Posted October 1, 2009 the car will cut out at random times - normally when slowing down for a roundabout and wont start up for a good five minutes. I can arm/disarm the alarm, take the key out the ignition put it back again, turn it, and the dash still doesnt light up to let me know the immobiliser has disarmed even after pressing a button on the fob. On the other hand it does turn over no problems so cant be battery related. Does this sound like symptoms of fuel pump/ecu relay at all? It does have a toad ai606 alarm btw! thanks for the help! jakegti 0 Posted October 1, 2009 ok ive unplugged the ecu relay, switched the ignition on and the dash lit up so i dont think it can be that. possible immobiliser problems?
fla 9 Posted October 1, 2009 that test wont rule out the ecu relay. Its such a critical relay so i would replace it with a new one. Its cheap too, perhaps 14 from the dealer. Try that first and then report back.
