G60 aluminium pulley kit now fitted

hi all

 

i have been meaning to do a members thread

 

i have a 92 G60 in gray ( lp7z ) i got the rado on the 19. 02 08 . it had 2 mods a k&n panel filter & avo suspension .

my 1 mod wos lupo wipers best £101 iv sent

 

what iv don on the rado

 

engine

sns chip 68mm pulley 3.5 fpr charger rebuilt & mach ported to the bbm rsr outlet my me

bbm sold front mount k&n panel filter snorkel removed ecs magnetic sump plug

no cat & magnex exhausts ( sh!t fit to be replaced )

isv reroute forge t piece silicon hoses in black fmic 400×300×76mm in&out 76mm

boot retun removed neuspeed fan switch & themostat b&m shifter kit

 

chassis

fk ( ak )coilovers powerflex wishbone bushes ( to be replaced super pro )

goodridge brake hoses ate blue raceing brake fluid

 

outside

lupo wiper conversion de wipered rear lamin -x headlamp protection film subtle tint & red 4 the rear

 

inside

boot gauge chrome door hands JBS shift lights :luvlove:

 

have allso fitted an up rated headlamp loom

 

i had a cash on the 5 of may so its not in colour blue wing & front panel black bonnet

Love the colour its gorgeous, but not sure about the black bonnet though.

had a cash in may and not parted the front ns wing front panel bonnet

 

i do like black bonnet on none black car wood look better in colour thenk i will keep the

bonnet black 4 now get the wing / front panel parted :grin:

cupola of jobs 4 two day

 

fitted a charger inlet flange & 63mm to 70mm 45° reducer hose in black

to air filter box may go K&N cone air filter as my K&N panel filter is get

abit old

looking at your bay id say the boost return isnt doing alot as your running the boost back in form the isv. will lubricate the charger though so not a bad thng.

 

i agree with painting the bonnet to match the car though.

 

other than that looking tidy.

only put the boost return back on because its two luod with it off 4 me

i do miss that nose theo

If you like the whoosh on gear change but not the whistling on half throttle, there are a few options. You can cap the boost return on throttle body off and run a dump valve (very loud on gear change!) or you can stick a pipe on the TB and vent it off somewhere to muffle the whistle a bit. Putting the sieve type bit from you boost return system in the pipe can help to muffle it too.

 

They had a G60 engine like this at DG, out of golf track car. Apparently the pipe was vented straight out of the bottom of the engine bay, so if you parked it on dusty ground and revved the engine it started little dust storm! :lol:

got it of ebay hes user id is g60mvr6 may have an email 4 hem

i got it £ 42 + £ 5 postage starting bid was £ 35

 

have been looking 4 one my self 4 a bit now

think i will go K&N cone filter

ok thank you! because in france we don't have the same thing to stop the isv control pressure! we put a "clapet" like this

 

 

 

 

 

do you know it? there is a difference between this two modifications?

have fited some red led two the window sunroof fog & heated rear window switch
