VEEDUBBED 0 Posted December 6, 2009 WTF is going on here?, After changing the clutch on my ride i've just noticed that the speedo has now become a rev-counter.Here's what happens:start car,if i don't move the car the speedo's needle don't move,if i move the car the speedo needle registers engine rpm really bloody weird... The speedo still works but also registers the revs aswell!,say i'm at 60km/h the needle stays on 60 but it also moves when revvin :( Anyone ever had this issue? or is it a VEEDUBBED induced defect. This car is turning my hair white...

Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 8, 2009 Yeah as Ginger says, check the speed sensor. You may have disturbed it when changing the clutch.

dirtytorque 0 Posted December 9, 2009 have you spliced into the loom at all previously?
Ginger60 0 Posted December 10, 2009 strange, that usually sorts it out. Maybe the speed sensor is breaking down inside, try replacing it, they only cost around £20 from the dealer anyway.
