My speedo has turned into a rev counter!

WTF is going on here?,

After changing the clutch on my ride i've just noticed that the speedo

has now become a rev-counter.Here's what happens:start car,if i don't move the car

the speedo's needle don't move,if i move the car the speedo needle registers engine rpm

really bloody weird...

The speedo still works but also registers the revs aswell!,say i'm at 60km/h the needle stays on 60 but

it also moves when revvin :(

Anyone ever had this issue? or is it a VEEDUBBED induced defect.

check your speed sensor hasnt been damaged/earthed out. Infact it can be alot to do with that...

Yeah as Ginger says, check the speed sensor. You may have disturbed it when changing the clutch.

Checked the bugger,it works fine.

have you spliced into the loom at all previously?

strange, that usually sorts it out. Maybe the speed sensor is breaking down inside, try replacing it, they only cost around £20 from the dealer anyway.
