How does the clutch foot rest fit?

Its almost certainly a very simple answer, but how does the clutch pedal footrest fit?

 

Just got a g60 with the foot rest not fitted, not a problem I thought, but just gone to fit it, and I dont know how. I can see that there is a screw into the top part, but then there is a metal plate at the bottom, does it screw into this?

yes, as simple as that. Just the 2 screws you've identified at the top and bottom.
