Rento_VW 0 Posted January 8, 2010 Is there enough room to replace the springs without removing the whole strut?

fla 9 Posted January 8, 2010 the springs and damper are one unit so if you need to do anything on either the whole strut needs to be removed. Some other cars have teh springs and shocks mounted individually, meaning you can replace the springs independently.

Supercharged 2 Posted January 8, 2010 Nope, in a word that is. How about in the medium of interpretive dance? Obviously more difficult to convey but I like your thinking and would like to see it!
Rento_VW 0 Posted January 8, 2010 The reason. Why I asked, is that on my buddy's e30, we just unmounted the top of the strut, slid the spring off, slid the new spring on and just remounted it. Was hoping to acheive the same with the rado.
