muppetlab 0 Posted February 8, 2010 Dot 5.1 is fine to use and can be mixed with dot 4 if need be but better to do a complete flush with 5.1 then you know its all good. As mentioned its Dot 5 which is the silicone one and wont mix with other Dot fluids. Think Dot 5 also has a colourant in it but not sure. I recently replaced mine with Dot 5.1 but to be honest cant notice much difference apart from the fact its about three times as expensive :shock: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
