A329M Crash Barriers - 10 Downing St petition

There was another fatality on the A329M between the M4 and Reading the other week when a car crossed carriageways into the path of a van. It's about the third I can think of in the last few years. What's unique (and dumb) about this bit of M-way is it has no central crash barriers, merely a central grass section - hence the ease at which vehicles can cross into oncoming traffic.

 

One of my friends has started a Downing Street petition to get crash barriers installed before it happens to someone else.
