Brake Balance valve - service or replace ??

My Brake Balance/Bias Valve ( located on the rear cross-member ) has a small leak. Not serious, but not something I want to leave ... ...

 

Is it a serviceable item ? Or is replacement the only option ??

Replace. Save it for when you do the rear axle bushes as it has to be cut off anyway, 9 times in 10, due to corroded mounting bolts and / or corroded brake pipe unions. A new one is about £70

Was quoted £130 plus vat a couple of days ago :( :(

From VW, yeah, but Vince uses a pattern one of decent quality, which is that aforementioned £70+VAT :D

Yup, Eurocarparts are an ATE dealer so should be able to get an OE one for you.
