VR6 Cam Chain

As far as I know, the cam chain and tensioners on my VR6 have never been serviced.

 

When idleing I can hear the chain making a "chinking" sound, it stops when the revs are increased.

 

She's done 110,000 miles and I'm considering getting it sorted.

 

Can any one recommended any Corrado speciallists around the Northwest/Midlands?

 

Stealth quoted £700 + VAT, and they advised the clutch will be replaced in that price too.

DG Autotech quoted £1000-£1200 + VAT

 

Seems like a huge difference in prices. :scratch:

i dont think you have a like for like price there - check back with DG what they're including in that, i'm sure there will be more to their price.
