farrantino 0 Posted April 24, 2010 afternoon, Sorry if this has been asked, i dont really have a lot of time to search :) . My in tank pump is knackered, in the meantime of getting a replacement, can i remove the intake pump and replace with a fuel hose, reason for asking is that the main pump is whirring, resulting in the car not revving the fuel range. Cheers Sean
Henny 0 Posted April 24, 2010 the in tank pump also seals up the tank (it's a BIIIGGG hole in the top of the tank!) and acts as the pick up pipe to the bottom of the tank.... As far as I can see the only way to do it would to be replace the pump with another pump... :?

Just a thought to lessen the strain to the main pump Sean
