badgerman 0 Posted June 1, 2010 Hi all, Anyone knowledgeable in engine mount replacement on a G60? Mine are worn and the engine is moving a bit so before I fit my Eaton M90 I would like to replace them. I need to know procedure, things to look out for, approximate time etc. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Chris
davidwort 0 Posted June 1, 2010 think all 4 cylinder cars are basically the same, might be harder to get at things one the front mount on a G60 essentially you just remove the mounting bolts and jack the engine up just enough to slip the mounts out front and rear are fairly easy, gearbox mount can be a little difficult as the fixing bolts are slightly harder to get onto IIRC. If all the bolts are easy to remove it shouldn't take much longer than 30 mins to 1 hr to do the lot.
