If you remove a spark plug - can you smell the fuel in the engine after turning it over?

Are you getting a spark to the spark plug? If you disconnect a HT lead, you should hear a large clicking if its sending the spark as you turn it over.

You might wanna charge up your battery.....

If you can find them out, we might be able to narrow it down for you.

Removing spark plug and turning engine over whilst said spark plug is close to engine can be a bit dangerous btw.......the whole petrol/ignition thingy :)

Just a reminder.

Ok, I wasn't explicit enough for Tom....

Remove the spark plug AFTER turning it over - to smell for fuel.

Replace the spark plug then remove its HT lead to check for spark.

Ok Tom?

Actually Andi, for once I understood what you meant :D

....but I thought that there should maybe a warning in there for anyone silly enough to remove plug and then crank engine!

Ok Andi?
