Barkshire 0 Posted June 20, 2010 Hey guys hopefully nothing major; there seems to be an oil leek under my car, nothing really leaks when it's off and sitting however, when the engine is idleing it's smoking from the dipstick tube and the previous owner put a 2.0l bottom end on it with a breather where the oil goes back to the airbox and that just seems to be showering out oil but a milky texture... It also smokes like mad especially when reved.. A freind of mine says he fears it might be piston rings?? Really upsetting as I got it 2 days ago and it wasn't doing it untill late last night :( Will get some pics up too in a while.. Barkshire 0 Posted June 21, 2010 Just had someone look over it they think the piston rings have gone as well as the head gasket and one of the valve seams is mauled too! Wow new engine time...
