Mawrick 0 Posted June 25, 2010 As the Michelin Pilot EXALTO PE2 isn't available in 225/40/16 (hopefully able to fit on the C in the rear - if not please feel free to tell). As I think I might something bigger for the 9" rims in the back then 215/40/16 I'v been thinking of 225/40/16 in the rear, but Michelin doesn't make those tires in that size. Option from where I order is: Dunlop SP SPORT 9000 Toyo PROXES T1-R Dunlop DOT 2007 SP SPORT 9000 uniroyal rainsport 2 Falken ZIEX ZE-912 Any tips on what would could be an option?...... GlosterOx 0 Posted June 25, 2010 Can you get these, very highly rated and a good price here in the UK? http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... s319p15207 Ian.
Mawrick 0 Posted June 25, 2010 I might - but will have to look into that - at least have to get them localy (I'm ordering the other ones from germany actually). reason : saves me roughly £2-300 on em.........it's a shame but that's how it is here..... And they always try to push on some cheaper tires when I ask for the michelin ones (I presume they have a better "pay off" on the other tires they have lol)
Mawrick 0 Posted June 25, 2010 happen to know anything about those toyo tires? (I'v always been sceptical - but seem to have gotten quite a few good reviews)....
8vMatt 1 Posted June 25, 2010 Wow, 225's would rub wouldn't they? If not, then thats a good amount of rubber to get down on the road

I've got standard arches and had 8x17 alloys with 215's on the back. They rubbed on the edge and sidewall. They had an ET35. Hope this helps.
Mawrick 0 Posted September 10, 2010 Ended up getting 215/40/16 Pilot Exalto all around - also on the 9" in the rear. Was a bi*** to get on but worked out in the end :) And No rubbing (although I still have to lower it more though...;) )
