Andy-H 0 Posted June 27, 2010 Hi Peeps, Having a bit of trouble recently. When the car is sat in traffic, the fuel pump under the car starts getting noisy and eventually stops :mad2: At first I thought it was the fuel pump so I bought a new one and carried on thinking it was all sorted.............. until today :( It spluttered to a halt again, this time I knew the tell tale signs that it was going to do it and pulled over  . When I turn the ignition on the fuel pump is making a churning noise, only when it quietens down (sounds like there is fuel to it) do I know that it will fire up. Is there another fuel pump in the fuel tank or is there something else under the car that would make it starve itself?? Many thanks in advance, Andy
