I've just bought a chip and 68mm pulley for my charger, but was wondering if I was going to need a shorter belt for the pulley? I only ask I see a few for sale along with these chip and pulley sets? Supercharged 2 Posted July 11, 2010 Hello - Yes you do and it's a 6PK1640 or 1638 you need as long as you don't have aircon also check the tensioner and both plastic idler wheels are good as belt slip is more likely with a smaller pulley. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DanVW 0 Posted July 17, 2010 If your thinking of dropping a pully size it would be worth getting the charger checked at G-Werks first!
