krnau 0 Posted August 1, 2010 Hi there, I have a set of b1 brocks 7.5 - 9 x16 with 215 40 16 tyres. each 7.5J rim's weight is 10.5kg  , and don't know about 9J ones. I've recently bought a set of brock b1 8x15 and I'm not sure if I will be selling these, or may I better put some tyres on them? Will the weight differece make the car feel like it's more powerful? I remember that with sebrings, my car accelerates really faster than with 16" brocks... what tyres will fit better, 195 or 205 50 15? Any pics of anyone's car with these tyres on their rims? Will they look like poo, so, should I keep the 16" brocks?? I'm all messed up as you can see  oh, and, thanks for reading :camp:
4eyes2wheels 0 Posted August 1, 2010 what tyres will fit better, 195 or 205 50 15? I have two sets of Speedlines - one with 205s and one with 195s and I can't tell much difference between them.

I wouldn't like my corrado to look like this
4eyes2wheels 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Dunno mate, you need one of those clever chaps that talk about rolling radius and have pictures of lots of wheels and tyres . . . I'm sure there'll be one along soon . . .
mimjed 0 Posted August 2, 2010 205 in my opinion. I run 195 50 15 on my 7.5j, you could get away with them but im not a big fan of stretching tyres. Depends on the brand of tyres too, some have chunky sidewalls and some are skinny.
coullstar 0 Posted August 2, 2010 205 minimum on an 8in rim.
