rado94 0 Posted August 24, 2010 looking at changing the lambda this weekend on my 2.0 16v,got chatting to a garage about it and is it right you need to drop the exhaust in order to get to it?also do you need a certain tool to do it?i thought it was just a 22m spanner. any advise would be great. rado94 0 Posted August 24, 2010 the guy said it sits on top of the cat so u need to drop that part of the exhaust, maybe he was just making a mountain out of a molehill!
Kempy 0 Posted August 24, 2010 well it could be kinda upside down on yours maybe, Ive removed the cats on both my cars and both the cats where different so the boss could be on top? Dont think its inaccessible tbh and just a 22mm is required although the guy that removed mine ruined the thread on the lambda and cat :nono:
