Riley 0 Posted August 29, 2010 I've just been on the back roads, and hit a large dip in the road. Looking under the car, first thing i noticed was that where the main wishbone bolt goes through, the surrounding metal of the subframe (bottom which hit floor) around where the bolt goes through is battered/bent. Wishbone dosn't have any marks at all. Also noticed that the gearbox bellhousing has a large flat on the bottom, so im lucky i didn't catch the sump. Will anything be misaligned regards the bent subframe? The damage is localised to the bottom/surrounding metal. Neil.
Andy665 0 Posted August 29, 2010 I served to avoid a dog a few years ago in my Racing Puma and hit the kerb, it still drove but didn't feel "right" - ended up needing over £3k of subframe / suspension work, at first glance underneath it did not appear to be anything major
RW1 0 Posted August 29, 2010 Something has to give in those sort of circumstances (road or your Corrado). Photo may help to see how bad. .
