wato 0 Posted September 20, 2010 are the poerflex ones any good?
herisites 0 Posted September 20, 2010 I think general consensus is if you want to keep the passive rear stear then go with standards, pattern ones don't last half as long as genuines so worth saving a bit more and fitting genuines. Standard ones are harder to fit as need to be properly pressed in etc where as Powerflex you can just grease up and push in by hand (once the old ones are out!). Powerflex gets rid of the passive rear steering, last a long time but are often said to give a slightly more crashy ride.
Jim 2 Posted September 20, 2010 I've owned a car with Powerflex bushes all round, and also driven in one with poly rear axle bushes. Just too uncompromising IMHO - much harder ride and no really noticable benefits. Original bushes are the best for the Corrado, especially as Rob says, because they retain the passive rear steering.
