stuttering/lurching problem

the c has recently Developed a nasty judder when pressing lightly on the throttle at cruising speed, I changed all the ht leads, plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm, coil and checked all the vacuum pipes and sensors but the problem is still there. could this be a fueling issue? maybe the fuel reservoir?

 

it is also revving up still after cleaning the isv.

 

any help appreciated chaps, thanks.

had a look and seems ok at a glance, but im no electrician. was the dry solder on a wire or a pin?

Both I think and they were obviously loose too.

so did you push the wires out of the back of the fuse board where the solenoid plugs in and re-solder them?

I had a similar problem on mine, turned out to be the ECU relay.

which cable? there are two sensors on the metering head and another on that valve on the back of the air box, is the maf sensor one of these?

Ah, sorry - missed your note that you were asking for a valver..... My problem was with a VR.

 

Having said that though, it was the connection to the sensor just after the air box so it may be worth checking that on your car. Make sure the cable is properly engaged, and also try checking there isn't any water that's got in behind the plug as that was the problem with mine.

il give all the sensor plugs a spray with WD40 as well as check the cables and see if that helps, i found that connector for the throttle sensor has snapped again which is probably why is revving up at idle.
