JONNYBOY32 0 Posted November 2, 2010 hi all im currently getting some cash together for my first corrado then engine conversion. looking through various threads i think i have decided that i would opt for the 20v t conversion, i have read that it isnt such a massive job for a mechanic but i need to know which model corrado is best for undertaking the conversion? thanks and look forward to your replys. Jim 2 Posted November 2, 2010 Welcome to the forum. I believe it's as simple as buy a 4 cylinder Corrado if you wanna go 1.8T or buy a VR6 if you want to 2.8 24v or R32 basically because of the engine mounting points. So any of the 4 cylinder cars would be good for doing the conversion.. a late 2.0 8v possibly (best spec, usually quite cheap, normally quite well looked after).
