Help with Steering Part numbers.

Have just been through a nightmare trying to get the right steering parts for my 92 G60. Parts were arranged via the local VW dealer from Singapore. All parts were wrong as steering rack is different apparently on 1992 model G60.

 

Does anybody have the correct ETKA numbers for front Left and Right tie rods ends and ball joints?

a 92 car should have the late style rack (22 spline input shaft from steering column universal joint) 192422061K

although looking at your chassis number it may well be the early (golf 2 16v) rack with the 36 spline input 192422061P

 

track rods should simply be mk2 golf (PAS) ones, no difference from year to year on corrado 191422803A left 191422804A right (assuming it was a 185 or 195 width tyre from factory) track rod ends are just standard mk2 golf.

Yeah, as above for track rods for all 4 cyl models and they come with ends.

 

Can't really see how VW would get the above wrong with the VIN number etc?

 

Is it RHD ??
