Right I have a friend who was changing his rear wheel bearing, cut a long story short he's buggered one of the caliper carrier bolts. For some reason he wants to know the thread size for such a bolt, its the m8 ones....any help would be greatly received, thanks and have a happy new year!

Can't be 100% sure but i think its 1.5mm

Is he replacing the bolts or retapping the carriers?

I have one in my hand now - M10x20 - 1.25mm thread pitch

Not really sure what his plan is, he just asked to ask you lot what the thread size is! He said its not 1.5mm as its finer than that he reckons its more like 1mm or .75mm??

Possibly changing them for normal Hex bolts instead of those horrible allen head bolts.

Woops sorry about that, I'm on my crapberry and its hard to see everything, think that thread size is right so hopefully he can get it sorted now, thanks for the help
