You will need:

A supercharger with associated pipework and mounting bracket- Rotrex or Vortech

Larger injectors (mine were Bosch 315s)

Air filter

ECU Remap

ARP head bolts

If your engine is healthy enough, you can get away with just these.

Non essential but recommended:

Chains and headgasket (if not done recently)

Oil cooler

Water injection

uprated radiator fans

Cams (DG Autotech, Schimmel, etc)

possibly a new fuel pump

If you are going down this road, make sure that your engine is in as good a state as possible before starting, as things will go pop, bang and boom if you stick another 100 or so bhp on top when they've already done 100k miles!

All sage advice.

It's worth adding that if you plan on exceeding 12psi, especially with the larger Rotrex, it's a good idea to lower the compression ratio.

Check out B15 VWC's Rotrex thread. Easily the best S/C VR6 I've seen to date. Tonnes of power and built to take it. It might give you some inspiration.

Plenty of other guys have very nice Vortech installs too. Not as savage as the larger Rotrex, but pretty effective all the same.
