ger040 3 Posted March 1, 2011 Hello i have posted before about my car just out of storage and is not running correctly (corrado g60) - exhaust if continually steamy - smells of fuel and the fuel consumption is excessive - today while moving it the idle went to about 1500 and stayed there and there was a hesitation as if the car was about to backfire when the accelerator was pushed! supercharged gave helpful advice and much appreciated one item that he recommended that i check was to see if 12v was available across the fuel rail - i have checked this with max reading 0.7? i hope iam doing this correctly as the connectors at the fuel rail are well sealed (brown and white plugs - i did also disconnect them tested them at the terminals and again there was no reading. all this was done with the ignition live but no engine running. if there is no reading is this an ecu fault - do i need to find a replacement or where else can the problem lie?
