unitfight 0 Posted March 2, 2011 basically my car has sold, but driving it home last night, in 4th and 5th gear while nailing it, it went completely flat!!! as soon as i let off the throttle, then floored it again it was ok?? kept doing this i noticed when it goes flat, sounds really quiet at the exhuast?? could this be caused by a collapsed exhaust box? i also noticed marks out of the breather filter on the idle control valve, could it be blowing boost back through that?? please help, its going at weekend! farrantino 0 Posted March 2, 2011 if it has a collapsed box it wouldnt help matters, not sure about the idle valve part, just seems strange too only do it in 4th and 5th, might be worth clening out the throttle body and ISV. Hope you get it sorted buddy
