b9085 0 Posted March 22, 2011 I have an a starting problem in warm weather ie when the car has been sitting in the sun all day. I turn the key and the car will fire up for a second maybe shorter then cut out. After searching through the forum for answers, I think it may be; immobilizer, ignition switch or starter solenoid? I am going for the immobilizer first and I have read about cleaning contacts but I am not sure exactly where to go. Could someone please point me in the direction or give me an idea of what to do? Thanks in advance!
