okcid 10 Posted April 24, 2011 as above guys, spending a small fortune on the G at the mo and thought i better change the current set up. Has coilovers already but the are real cheapies! They are rubbish, absolutely rock solid with no give. Haven't really ever tested them on the limit as they give no reel feel, apart from when they cause the car to bloody skip around in corners. not cool! Looking for something that i can adjust so it's not such a harsh ride but still keep a good drop (nothing silly) I want a sporty feel over the standard but not really looking for a track car set up as will only be running on road. Not looking to spend loads but want something half decent. It's for a mk2 golf guys btw. Thanks

Rob_B 0 Posted April 25, 2011 I've got KW v3's and they are the nuts! Can't go wrong with them.
MK1Campaign 0 Posted April 25, 2011 KW's are the only coilovers that have really impressed me. Ive got a set of Inox V1 on my MK4 Golf.

okcid 10 Posted April 25, 2011 Thanks for the replies, KW seems to be the most popular choice but not looking to spend that much. I am fully aware that you get what you pay for though, i am a firm believer in that. I have had V2 kws on an old car and they were very good. But really want to keep the costs down as i seem to be spending ££££'s at the mo :( Anything cheap and cheerful? I know that contradicts my above comment about getting what you pay for but my current ones are shaking me to death, lol!
