dalhalvaig 0 Posted May 1, 2011 You might have noticed my thread on refurbing my RS771s. I just thought I'd offer them up to the car to make sure the spigot diameter and stud pattern were right. Well they're fine. But what I have noticed is that at the front the clearance to the brake caliper is very small. I mean 2-3 mm - probably nearer 2mm. Now clearance is clearance, and I've checked 2 different wheels on the 2 front positions and spun them round. They do not contact, but 2mm seems very small to me. They are ET42, VW wheels. Has anyone else got this combination and if so what sort of clearance do you get? Spec BBS RS771, ET42, 6.5*16, VW part number 1J0 601 025E, other number 12 42 021. I'm putting them on a VR6, which I believe has standard calipers although the discs are drilled. Any thoughts appreciated Cheers David
coullstar 0 Posted May 1, 2011 I ran my old car with them on with no issues, same set up.
