ger040 3 Posted May 18, 2011 My g60 corrado has covered 108k - i have been working on it when time and money permits to make it roadworthy as it had been off the road for 2 years i now wish to inspect the charger - it has never been overhauled and boost is poor but before i either post it to a specialist (jabba or g works) or attempt to overhaul it myself with a kit (£150.00) i am going to dismantle it to see if it is serviceable (do not want to post it only to find its not serviceable) - posting from n. Ireland- what do i need to look for or will it be obvious once it is opened? Can the engine be run without the charger? If so what do i do with the oil lines etc
Jim 2 Posted May 18, 2011 Regarding bypassing the charger, there is a very in-depth and interesting way of doing it mentioned here! http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5894
