kingkenny100 0 Posted May 18, 2011 At my last MOT I got an advisory that I need new engine mounts so have been on the look out for some. Iv read lots about upgrades but not looking spend a lot so was checking out ebay, there is a set of engine mounts which look quite differnt to what I thought engine mounts should look like! can anyone confirm if these are the correct part?? CazzaVR 0 Posted May 18, 2011 Those are the brackets, not the actual mounts. Don't buy cheapy replacements- false economy. Either go VW or invest in some Vibratechnics or VF mounts. You can also get a set of poly inserts from German Ebay, that will do a good job, but will be pretty cheap. You use them with the old mount housings.
