DANG60 0 Posted August 1, 2011 I'm doing a few upgrades on my 20v Corrado. It's having the engine uprated a bit and it should hopefully be in the 350 - 400 bhp region. The base car was a 2 litre 16v. I seem to remember on my old g60 that the drive shafts were quite chunky where as the ones on this car don't look as robust. Am I just imagining it or are there differences in the drive shafts. dragon green 4 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) IIRC only one of the G60 shafts is "chunky" hopefully someone should be along to correct me if i am wrong ! More power doesnt mean more traction ! Your driveshafts should handle the power ,unless you start using slicks, then EVERYTHING in the drivetrain will need uprating. good luck edit some on e-bay,one "chunky" one thin ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/corrado-g60-drive-shafts-/250855480523?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6826dccb Edited August 2, 2011 by dragon green
DANG60 0 Posted August 2, 2011 Thanks mate, like I say my memories a bit fuzzy so could well just be the same as what I have. Mine certainly has a thin one and a chunky one. I won't be running slicks on it I have a ctn gearbox which I will be having a diff fitted to it.
