omn0 0 Posted August 24, 2011 Hi, Right its got to that point where I've decided to spend a bit on the Corrado- Its had a bit of a service and its in the paintshop at the moment. One problem that its had for a while that I've decided to look at is that it often takes 1 or 2 goes to start and seems to run slightly rough- it idles ok and there's no variation in revs etc, but it smells as if its running a bit rich.... I've put a new battery in, changed the plugs (which were all pretty clean), changed the HT leads about 2 years ago but the problem persists. I'm thinking it could be a temperature related thing as the fuel temp often runs above 100 degrees but its never overheated. I know the engine is supposed to run pretty warm, but this is regularly 100 - 110 degrees. I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere but if anyone could shed any light or experience on this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, fred,
steveo29 0 Posted August 24, 2011 go for a full service with good quality parts, new plugs , rotor arm , cap , oil , filters etc ..then have a garage set the c/o and timing and see how it is then
