What parts for the corrado would you like in Carbon Fibre?

Graphite - Would love to see these wings your working on, I'm on the hunt for a decent set of late wings but having very luck currently so the carbon option seems a promising one.

Have some interest in this myself. Have been looking around and know the mk4 guys and girls can get carbon wings bonnet and tail gate, i think the mk5 can even get doors.

And have heard of carbon fibre roof skins.

 

In my ideal world i would have carbon fibre everything, and why not (apart from a empty bank balance), for the reduction in weight, no rust to worry about it would improve you power to weight, braking, mpg almost everything about the car.

 

Of course I would also have it painted, no need to shout about it, but certainly an interesting thread.

Aye it has. Unfortunately the other forum member who started this up with me ended up leaving the project and I have been aiming to continue on my own.

 

I now have a full shell to mould from and hopefully I should have some working moulds in the early part of next year.

 

My priorities have changed from working full time in Leeds to going back into full time education at Northbrook College, Shoreham in Sussex on the Motorsport Engineering course they run..

 

I haven't forgotten about this and I intend to re-build my corrado over the next two years with all the carbon parts I can, I have a vested interest so I should achieve something with this at some point.

 

I also have the benefit of working with a certain specialist at the moment on a part time basis that is going to help me achieve the carbon parts idea.
