robrado974 1 Posted September 17, 2011 Ok so me vr now starts .I still have the problem of the lumpy start though on occasions . The isv is soaking overnight in carb cleaner . The crack pipe looks a bit messy in and around the mesh grill , is it safe to use carb cleaner and flush it or just soapy water or something ? Thanks Rob
boost monkey 0 Posted September 17, 2011 ....I always thought the "crack pipe" was part of the coolant system :s
floppyman 0 Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) Yes the crack pipe is the name given to the pipe that goes from the water pump to the sensors. I think he was talking about the isv silencer. The silencer I just blow it with compressed air. But if you want you can open it and take the mesh out to clean Edited September 17, 2011 by floppyman
