VR6Pete 0 Posted September 27, 2011 While I was replacing the foliage seal, the trim above the heater motor you need to remove as part of this has been siliconed on..... and I mean, good and proper bodge job.... the part it's is missing some of the mounts that attach it to the clips under the window screen, so I need another one that is in tact, as I already have the new clips to secure the trim to the car. I want to do the job properly :) Cheers Pete

VR6Pete 0 Posted September 28, 2011 hi mate, yeah I think that is the one :) I thought I took a photo of it, but seemingly not! however, this is the trim, its the peice held down with the screw, and has 3 clips mounts on the back of it :)
TimDoc 0 Posted September 28, 2011 Ah - right, not what i was talking about - this is the left part of the three-part scuttle tray that catches the water. it's normally siliconed down with the vw black really sticky silicone. You will most likely have to get a complete set from someone breaking or maybe someone will have done the same whilst breaking a car but to the other parts?? Good luck finding one Tim

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 28, 2011 it's normally siliconed down with the vw black really sticky silicone. They're actually clipped down but Shonky screen fitters *always* break them and it's them who stick the panels back down with sticky mastic schitt :D
