stevef182 0 Posted November 2, 2011 Having fitted new wheels, suspension, top mounts etc I need to get the car geometry set up again. Firstly - I plan on replacing wishbone bushes in the near future, can this be done after the set up without throwing the new set up out? Secondly, I am running 16'' d90s (8s and 6s) with KW V1s (about 45mm drop) - how on earth do I work out correct camber settings, clearly factory setup (which I presume is all my garage will have) will not be correct. stevef182 0 Posted November 2, 2011 Anyone? ---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:58 PM ---------- On reflection I will make sure I do the bushes etc first, it makes sense to fit new parts etc before paying for a full set-up. However any advice on camber angle etc would be much appreciated.
24V Renshaw 0 Posted November 2, 2011 Once all the new bits are fitted and the car is at the height you will keep it etc... Get the toe set to parallel with around 1.5 degrees camber or a little closer to 2 degrees depending on preference and that will give you an excellent base line to start from. stevef182 0 Posted November 2, 2011 I had planned on straight line toe and 1 degree (neg) camber so I wasnt far off. Thanks.
