I have uprated the rear to Mk4 calipers and will need to do the fronts in the next 6 months Thanks Rob

robdriver 10 Posted November 28, 2011 Thanks for the quick comeback To confirm that you have the following items 1. 4 stud 280mm discs with pads 2. G60 Caliper Carrier Brackets I dont think that G60 pads will fit my calipers but the discs will be fine and the G60 carriers will allow me to fit my standard calipers Confirm as above and let me know what money you are looking for

Supercharged 2 Posted September 26, 2012 http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1583 Ideally you need new calipers too as the pads and discs are wider - if you bought a pair of G60/VR ones then you could use the 16V ones as exchange I would think. As far as I understood it, the calipers were the same on all the 4 pot engine models?
Supercharged 2 Posted September 27, 2012 As far as I understood it, the calipers were the same on all the 4 pot engine models? Well... same 54mm Piston size so you don't need to upgrade the MC but the discs and pads on the VR6 and G60 are a few mm wider so the calipers themselves are also wider. You can get away with it using 16V pads and slightly worn discs but new calipers are not hugely expensive.
