JonnyG60 10 Posted December 6, 2011 I know the "G-Werks Bust?" thread has been closed for obvious reasons but... I need a Letter of Ceased Trading from them to give to my bank in order to claim money bank. After not being able to contact them I have already tried trading standards, companies house and the insolvency service but none know of G-Werks having ceased trading! So I'm just wondering If anyone has had any luck with contacting them recently? And/Or claiming money back? I'm only a student :(
Jim 2 Posted December 6, 2011 Can you not direct them to their website? http://g-werks.com/
Rob_B 0 Posted December 6, 2011 That sucks mate. Are you trying to claim a credit card transaction or a debit card transaction back? I know when I had to claim money back from performance trim the credit card company just asked me what I had done and then probably looked into it themselves. didn't need a letter or anything. It can take up to a month before the company has to register its insolvency with companies house from what I believe, so you may just have to wait for this. Good luck
JonnyG60 10 Posted December 6, 2011 Would you believe it I sent another email today and got a swift reply, and I believe it's all sorted now as a refund from their card supplier is being processed. HSBC on the other hand are a right pain and it seems they have a very limited number of phone lines into their Visa Chargeback department! They also don't send emails or ring you when they promise. Should finally be able to finish off the Corrado when i get back from uni this christmas though now :)
Rob_B 0 Posted December 6, 2011 I can't imagine it's very easy getting money back from the bank! Glad it's sorted though
