Stonejag 10 Posted December 9, 2011 My mate in the machine shop at work has been rushed off his feet with the usual Christmas panicking and today was my last day in before the new year... I'd like to get my 312mm brakes fitted at the same time as the rear beam's off to do the bushes (fitting mk4 rears at the same time) so they only have to bleed the system once. Ideally that would be next week - I've got all the bits, but no spacers. Any chance someone with access to a lathe could help me out? I'm obviously happy to pay for them! Thanks in advance, Stone
aide 0 Posted December 9, 2011 a solid 6mm spacer sounds like the proper job, but most use washers mate, sure would be ok for a temp solution.

Stonejag 10 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) I should be able to knock some up if work isn't too busy have you got dimensions? Awesome, thank you! Dimensions as shown: (outer diameter can vary a bit - don't bother turning them down to 24mm if you have 25mm bar stock :)) Been meaning to get these off the ground, £10 posted. If only they were stainless...thanks anyway though :) Stone Edited December 11, 2011 by Stonejag

leeeeshad 0 Posted December 17, 2011 Sorry we've been really busy at work this week so I haven't be able to do them yet (well I've got one done but thats not much use)
Stonejag 10 Posted December 18, 2011 Don't worry, I had to wait a little longer anyway to let the caliper paint harden off, it dries a lot slower than I was expecting! I think they're going to look pretty good though I'll drop my address to you in a PM. Thank you!
Stonejag 10 Posted January 11, 2012 Well, when I got back to work I had a word with the machine shop bloke. He was so apologetic for having forgotten about these that he made me an extra set  Would anybody like them at cost? Stone [i can set up a classified if I get in trouble but it hardly seems worth it...]
aide 0 Posted January 12, 2012 interested, how much do you want for them?
