CorradoWannabe 1 Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) I did very little - apart form suggesting the venue - everyone coming along is what made it a decent event - especially those travelling from far away - so well done everyone! CorradoWannabe 1 Posted April 29, 2012 Matt - having read your signature and car spec I now know why I had trouble keeping up with you on the A3, and why your car sounded so great!

scarlet_vr6 0 Posted April 29, 2012 Sounds like a good meet! Nice write up and good pics too :) Really would have liked to have been there, but the touring cars were calling, and my C is at the bodyshop anyway. Will be keeping an eye out for the next one though :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CorradoWannabe 1 Posted April 30, 2012 Did the waitress take everybody pic for the wall? No - this did not happen - although to be fair we did all go outside shortly after she was round. When we came back in for coffee round #2 she did come over to me and give me a business card with her details - so I'll follow up on that.
Rorgasm 10 Posted April 30, 2012 Gutted to have missed the Meet but on the upside i've finally collected the TT seats i paid for about 7 Weeks ago. Ebay can be hard work some times!!!! Look forward to the next one esp if its Sunny.
Portent 0 Posted April 30, 2012 My drive back was interesting. It was only 15 mins but I must have leaft at the wettest point of the day. It was torrential and really showed how old the design of the Corrado is in comparison to something newer. I could barely see as I got onto the A3 and had to open the drivers window to check my mirrors. My poor daughter was sitting in the rear seat behind me and got water blasted as I opened it and got up to speed :D But a few twisties nearer my house made it entertaining and I followed a nice looking Peugeot 205 GTI for a bit which made up for the weather. I have the Lupo GTi ones on mine - but I am told there are other better mods out there now. Up-rated wipers and headlights are crucial for driving in horrible wet weather (he says, despite having an uprated loom but not having fitted it) Edited May 3, 2012 by CorradoWannabe
Portent 0 Posted May 3, 2012 Like you I have an uprated loom but not fitted it yet :) No wiper mod yet although I could just about see through the front window. It was the side window I couldn't see through. So I had to wind the window down to check for cars when I merged ontot he A3.

Ahh - as you are so close we should meet up and have a 'Fit the wiring loom to your Corrado' day! You will notice a massive difference with some different wipers - a whole new world!
