Recommended Posts

i know theres loads of posts on tyres here, but i havent found what im after...

ive got a set of 17" alloys, 17x7JJ ET40 4x100 PCD

ive looked though the forum and got the right spigot sizes 72.0 - 57.1, so ive ordered them..

as for the tyre size...there gunna be ???/40/17...im i best going for a 205 or a 215/??

i dont want any rubbing issues.

205/40R17 would be the best option. They should fit without any problem, I ran that size on my first C. Also, the overall circumference will be closer to the original size, meaning your speedo won't be quite so far out.

195/40's best, 205/40's cheapest.

^This.... For looks.

205/40 for ride. I'm with Baz; 195/40 would be my choice.

Nope, 195 will fit more or less flush with a 7" rim.

Look on tyrestretch.com for some pictures!

I had 205s on 8J rims and there was little or no stretch, 195s will be fine
