robo22sri 10 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Had a little accident last night! I ended up a little side ways in a roundabout and hit the kerb! Tyre is ruined, but was wondering what else i should look for for damage? The steering is now knocking when you turn the steering wheel with the engine off :( Cheers Rob Edited February 12, 2012 by robo22sri
Ralphead 0 Posted February 12, 2012 Take the wheel off and have a look for signs of anything that's touching something it shouldn't be. Rub marks, scrapes etc.

Grim1 1 Posted February 12, 2012 I'd get you tracking/alignment checked, also, with the tyre off the rim, check the rim for any cracks. To be honest though, fitting a new tyre and getting it balance would highlight any other issues ie out of shape/buckled rim.
