petemcr 10 Posted February 16, 2012 hey Guys Probably a silly question this but I thought i'd ask anyways, I'm going to buy a second inlet manifold to polish up, so i've been searching around and found some, but my question is I know there were differences between the OBD1/OBD2 inlets for the sensors etc... but what about size? I have found one that is OBD1 but it might be off a Golf, if it's off the AAA engine, will it be any smaller to go with the smaller displacement of the engine? or they the same bar the change in engine management any help would be great
daves16v 1 Posted February 17, 2012 AFAIK the OBD1 manifolds are the same, the OBD2 manifold (AAA only) have a different throttle body mounting. I have a spare OBD1 manifold off my VR if you're interested?

daves16v 1 Posted February 17, 2012 £20 + post which I guess will be about a tenner given the size.
petemcr 10 Posted February 17, 2012 ok, I'll let you know mate, I'm in Manchester as well so it will probably be easier to sort out me picking it up or something wouldn't it, rather than letting parcel force handle it lol
daves16v 1 Posted February 17, 2012 I'm not in Manchester, I'm part way between Derby and Notts.
