leeeeshad 0 Posted February 27, 2012 Hi, I'm replacing my front calipers on my 92 G60, the dealer says there are a few different ones and they need my engine and chassis numbers to get the right ones, so I don't have to hunt around the block for the engine number does anyone know which ones I need? Thanks in advance.
GrahamU 6 Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) that info will be on the log book, cleaner than checking the on the engine. I didn't realise there was a substantial difference in the 280 calipers, there is between the 280 and 256, the 280 being wider but there both 54mm pistons, still everydays a school day, I've just fitted 280 from a mk3 gti to mine Edited February 27, 2012 by rado20vT

leeeeshad 0 Posted February 28, 2012 Thanks guys I've got the numbers now, the chassis number was in the service book but the engine number was under rust on the other side to where I was looking on the block. (thanks vag hag but I've ordered some from VW as £69 each wasnt too painfull).
