Editing titles

Is it possible to edit your own titles of threads, Ive tried going advanced and its not allowing to edit at all.

 

Basically after editing the title of my thread/blog in the members section. The *progress upto now* changed to *In the bodyshop*

 

Does this require emailing an admin to do for me ?

I think you just change it in the first post in your thread

Go to the first post then go advanced i believe then you should be avle to change the title there somewer

Tried that, just comes up with a grey box with no text to edit and the title locked.

I thought there used to be an issue where if the thread was pre-new forum it wouldn't let you change the title. But your thread is fairly new so I'm not really sure without checking further.

Im having the exact same problem as MacDaddy,grey box etc etc,

the difference is i have edited it before, but now it wont let me !

Any ideas ?

Wanted to edit this post,but couldn't ! I had to go on Tapatalk, Tapatalk won't let me edit titles, any ideas ?

been trying today and no chance to edit title.

Just made a change, then logged in as a 'normal user', created a new thread, then edited the first post, changing the title, and submitted, and it all worked...

 

So could you test you can also edit post titles please?

Sorry to thread hi-jack, but I have the same issue, from what I can make out, once someone else has posted on a thread, you then can't edit the title or contents...

 

Perhaps that helps a little?

so how do you edit the title? I cant seem to do it on mine again...

- At the bottom of your first* post select "Edit Post",

- Then select "Go Advanced"

- Once page reloads, there should be an input field - showign your existing title and there you will be able to change it,

- When happy with changes just select "Save Changed"

ps. It works fine for me. What I may suspect it may be your web browser causing some issues. Maybe try accessing forum using different web browser, like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc... Alternatively you can try clearing caches.

Having trouble changing the title !

I go to edit,click advanced,edit title,click save changes,and a box appears

Any ideas ?

Still can't edit my title,thought it might of been the I-pad,but it won't let me on the pc !
