RadoChic 10 Posted March 7, 2012 Hi, I'm new to here, and was just hoping for some general comments on selling my Rado. I currently have a White 2.0 16v Corrado. I want to sell due to being a student and having a daughter, I feel the need to have something a bit more sensible and "mum" like, lol. Im fed up with my daughter complaining. The Rado is Lowered on Lenzo 16's. She is a beautiful/sexy looking car, and i will be sorry to see her go. She is so much fun. She has 12 Months MOT and tax til July12. I have had her for 12 months, and enjoy the looks and comments i get from driving her. My husband owns Devon Dub Shack in Plymouth, so has seen to a mechanical needs she has needed. The only things she has needed is to be risen a little as she was a bit to low, other than that, shes a dream. I just wanted to get a feel or an idea of how much i could sell her for, or if anyone was interested. I would like to buy a new beetle. kind regards, RadoChic. :thumbleft:
Abdul 0 Posted March 7, 2012 Pics? Whats the condition like? Rust/dents/scrapes? Mileage? FSH? How many owners? Any mods? All adds up...
Stonejag 10 Posted March 7, 2012 Keep it, your daughter will soon learn who's boss ;)
Redfox 10 Posted March 7, 2012 Exactly my words. Keep it and enjoy it. Your daughter will be embarrased in a suzuki swift mum-like car or alike. There's a lot, and I mean a lot more streetcred for your daughter in your nice Corrado. Nice to hear that women can also drive a Corrado ;) Enjoy. Cheers, Redfox. scarlet_vr6 0 Posted March 7, 2012 Sorry to see you've only found the forum when you're thinking of selling :( I agree with the rest though... sell it and it sounds like you'll end up regretting it. You wouldn't be the first! If you did sell, what sort of thing would you buy? Nice to hear that women can also drive a Corrado ;) Yep, there are a few of us kicking around here :) Well... someone had to say it!! RadoChic 10 Posted March 8, 2012 Lol! I was thinking 1.8T beetle in black! They look awesome. And I think, I'm a student, so can always buy another Rado in a few years time, maybe a vr6?? She is awesome, but to be honest, she has no suspension at all, I feel it when I drive over a rizzla paper! I would like something a bit more comfortable and more of a relaxed drive. Personally I think I'm making the right decision for now. As for my daughter, she is a little dubber at heart, she loves my husbands pick up caddy! By the way everyone, he owns DEVON DUB SHACK in Plymouth, specialising in mk2 golfs. Just for anyone who has mk 2 golfs or knows of anyone. New business and it's growing fast, thanks for all your comments guys, nice forum by the way. X
jeth1979 0 Posted March 16, 2012 hey just thought i would my 2 pennies worth here..firstly, sounds to me like the car is too low/harsh ride for daily motoring? perhaps change to a good suspension setup (maybe a cheaper option than a beetle?). also the 1.8t works well in a corrado!!!! i think as well you should get some pictures up on here so everyone could get an idea of what the cars condition, value etc, plus we all like to be nosey and have a look at the competition,lol..... im in pretty much the same dilema, now i have 3 kids in tow, but i really do reckon i (perhaps like you) i will regret selling it!!! at the end of the day, ITS WHAT YOU WANT,lol..... ps, i also have a mk2 gti, but living up in surrey, its a bit of a trek for a service!!! :-)
