novice question! synthetic-how do you know?

howdy,

this may be a laughable question, but i am planning on doing my first oil change on my new rado vr and dont know how to tell if the oil is synthetic or not!!!!! :mad:

 

im only a newcomer and also wonder if the coolant needs topping up do i go and buy some from the stealers?

it will say on the oil container...or do you mean whats in the engine already?

You can't tell if the oil currently in your engine is cooking oil or crude oil unless you have access to a laboratory, so just drain it and stick some new stuff in.

 

Yes only use G12+ coolant from the dealers. It's the pink Venos cough mixture coloured stuff....
